Our digital tension meter LT14DIG is an electronic measuring device for the control of tissue tension before and during the clamping process as well as after the application. A specific application is in screen printing e.g. the test (re) used pressure screens, so the measurement of the tensile force with which the screen stencil carrier claimed the screen frame. The tissue tension is measured in N / cm.
The LT14DIG tension meter has a high accuracy in measurements. Due to the large measuring range of 7-40N/cm, it is suitable for measurements of nylon and polyester fabric measurements up to steel fabric tension measurements. Thus, depending on the fabric type, the number of threads, the thread diameter, the format and the clamping system used, you can determine the optimum fabric tension for your application.
The tension meter LT14DIGhas an easy-to-read digital LCD display and an RS-232 interface. With this interface you can transfer and evaluate all data on your computer or laptop. However, you still need the optional software with suitable USB cable (SW2).

Commonly Used Screen Maximum Tension
Data in the table is based on testing condition of Swiss thick gauze. Concrete data depends on the quality of network machine. With good quality network machine, the gauze will not crack even in the highest tension. but if it exceeds the maximum tension, the gauze crackes easily, please reference when trapping net.

1. Before using please put the tension meter on the glass and turn round the dial to make the pointer return to zero.
2. Flick the silk screen during measuring, the indication when the pointer stopped is the tension of the silk screen.
3. Tension meter is precision meter, fall and touch is forbidden, be careful during using.
4. Tension meter has been tested precisely when leave the factory, dismounting alone is not allowed.
5. Can't touch the bottom side contactor by hand, put the machine vertically without using.
6. The Newton indication is the indication of the tension's contactor, the error is +0.5N.
7. The indication of the second circle is the measured value during measuring.
